No mesmo corte, com janela para mediastino, pode-se observar o espessamento irregular da superfície pleural (seta).

In the same tomographic section, with a window for the mediastinum, the irregular thickening of the pleural surface (arrow) can be observed.

Chaves: espessamento de pleura; espessamento pleural; irregular thickening of the pleura (red).

Na asbestose avançada os achados predominantes são de fibrose pulmonar, com faveolamento e bronquiectasias de tração. Espessamento septal interlobular (seta amarela), bandas parenquimatosas (seta azul) e nódulos puntiformes subpleurais (seta vermelha) também são visíveis.

In advanced asbestosis, the predominant findings are pulmonary fibrosis, with honeycombing and traction bronchiectasis. Interlobular septal thickening (yellow arrow), parenchymal bands (blue arrow) and subpleural punctate nodules (red arrow) are also visible.
