ENFISEMA PARASSEPTAL

Observe a hiperinsuflação pulmonar com a grande hiperlucência dos campos pulmonares, especialmente à direita. Essa lucência indica importante pobreza vascular. O coração tende a ser mais verticalizado (coração em gota) e há rebaixamento (retificação) das cúpulas frênicas.

Pulmonary hyperinflation with the great hyperlucency of the pulmonary fields, especially to the right, indicating important vascular poverty. The heart tends to be more upright (heart in droplet) and there is retraction (rectification) of the phrenic domes.

O enfisema parasseptal ocorre na periferia do pulmão, justapleural ou ao longo dos septos interlobulares. Nesse tipo de enfisema há lucências subpleurais em uma única camada, com predomínio nos lobos superiores e paredes finas, e a formação de grandes bolhas.

Paraseptal emphysema (blue arrows) occurs at the periphery of the lung, juxtapleural or along the interlobular septa. In this type of emphysema there are thin-walled subpleural lucences in a single layer, with predominance in the upper lobes and the formation of large bubbles.
